A generous helping of fiber lovelies found across the web. A chance to soak up the pleasure of creative adventure. A quiet moment of rest that only knitting inspiration can provide. You know – a monthly round-up of awesome knitterly things I found to help keep you happy and regular!
I found this endearing video of Sweet Georgia Yarns and if it doesn’t make you fall instantly in love … well, you have a heart of coal. lol
Star Wars in a felted fiber display? These Star Wars Epic Yarns books, crafted beautifully by Jack and Holman Wang, remain one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen! Needless to say, my husband, the Star Wars fanatic, was appropriately impressed and actually paid attention when I talked about fiber!
I have no idea where this website has been all of my life, but I think Yarnsub.com may very well be the most important knitting-website discovery I have ever made. Visit the site, enter in the yarn you need a substitution for, and then BAM! It spits out a whole list of alternate yarns you can use instead. The best part, though, is that with each of the alternate yarns, it provides detailed information on WHY the yarn is a good substitute, the different properties to pay attention to, and even what the yardage difference would be.
I have no idea who made these teeny, tiny, adorable sweaters and dresses, but I am enamored. I came across them on this Home and Garden page on Facebook.
