It has been a wild couple of months with birthdays, back-to-school activities, massive work projects, interviews, fun family trips, and more! So much to catch up on, but let’s see if I can sum it all up for you:
August started with a dragon-themed birthday party for the new 8-year old. My mom and I are cake masters at this point, don’t you think?
And birthday celebrations were quickly followed by back-to-school celebrations (yes, me dancing like a wild woman around the house as I savored the feeling of freedom). My oldest started 5th grade and the youngest is now in 3rd.
I also had tons of fun yarn crawling along the Yarn Along the Rockies with my friends Nancy and Jacque, hiking to waterfalls, exploring some of our Coloradan towns (like Steamboat Springs) …
I’m also thrilled to be settling in to my new job role with SweetGeorgia! You can listen to my interview on the SweetGeorgia show podcast if you promise not to laugh TOO much. Grin!I’ve also been spinning yarn, knitting, reading, writing (super secret project), and enjoying my family time. But, it’s time to get back on the ball with the blog posts, don’t you think?
