It has been a wild couple of months with birthdays, back-to-school activities, massive work projects, interviews, fun family trips, and more! So much to catch up on, but let’s see if I can sum it all up for you: August started with a dragon-themed birthday party for the new 8-year old. With all the Holiday Event planning, Thanksgiving, upcoming Christmas, school holiday activities, etc, etc, etc, etc…. I’m starting to feel the drain. It’s exhausting trying to keep up with so much! Now that Thanksgiving has moved to the past, I can start looking forward to the rest of the year. I had been ahead on my holiday gift knitting, but in the last week, I’ve fallen woefully behind. But, I refuse to let the external crazy make me internally nuts.
I’m up early, ready to start my day of baking and slaving in the kitchen. But, oh how I prepare my meals with love and joy, my way of saying thanks to my family for putting up with me all the rest of the year.
